About ME

I am a passionate advocate for therapy as an opportunity for every individual to access their inner wisdom. So much lies dormant over a lifetime.

I began my professional life as a teacher, first in primary and then in secondary schools and quickly realised that if our emotional life is not settled our capacity to shine is diminished.

I took a Masters training at London University in the psychological development of children and adolescents and a five year psychotherapy training followed on from this. My early psychological work was in domestic violence with families seeking to understand and repair broken relationships.

I have worked with children and adolescents in schools; with complex trauma through Social Services; with doctors and nurses in the NHS particularly throughout the covid pandemic.

I am registered as a psychotherapist through the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and I work according to the BACP Code of Ethics.

In my wider life I have travelled extensively, lived abroad, and worked in various contexts. This has given me a breath of experience and an awareness that to connect with human beings we have to:

  • look beyond the immediate

  • cultivate self awareness

  • function from the vibration of love

I look forward to meeting you.
